finding exact age on 1976 SW

I have a title stating 1976 and there is a hud lable on the rear of the home. My delima is finding the exact date of manufacture as being after 6/15/1976. Is there any place that you can look up the age of the home by the HUD tag number. The company is out of business.

The fact that it has a HUD seal, indicates it was built after that date. The date of manufacture is on the data plate inside the home.

I under stand that however, my lender wants a date not just the tag.

I think you misunderstood...the date is on the data plate INSIDE the home...

From my memory..almost all homes built to the HUD standards were titled 1977...somehow you might have one different...check out HUDS lable site I mentioned above..
