Arizona Foundation Requirements

I was wondering if there is anyone out there that can help me figure out the foundation requirements for the state of Arizona. Apparently, there are 5 differnent foundations that can be used. I need to figure out all five acceptable foundations and what the include. I think I may have two - stem foundation (not sure what it is though) and pier. Thank you.

Here is a link to the draft copy of the HUD foundation guide...You can buy a copy of the final report on the HUD site...but this link will cover most situations...Most importantly...check out your owners manual for specific advice on your home...also..there is a good fuondation book here in the bookstore..check it out..

that HUD foundation guide is only for engineers and designers, not to be used by homeowners or even contractors/installers.
Heather,
you need to contact the state of AZ. But why are you doing this? If you are buying a home and the dealer is putting this responsibilty on you, you better look somewhere else to buy your home.
