Marketing Double Wides
I'm a real estate agent and we need help marketing a double wide mobile home. There's a lot of strong points about the home, the well built basement, the rural setting, the outbuildings but lots of reluctance on the part of buyers about a manufactured house. I'm getting the specs and the history of the house. What's the best way to overcome this reluctance to consider this type of home?

Start by calling it what it is....A manufactured home..
Do not use the term..doublewide...quote the size as you would any home..by square foot..
List the features that impress you the most...
Treat it like a home..it will sell like a home..Finance is easily available with very favorable terms...Make sure you refer your buyer to a good originator who is familier with manufactured homes and not negative..
