General Manufctured Housing

I would appreciate information on General Manufactured Housing, Inc., located in
Waycross, Ga. They have a 10-year warranty on Presidential, Jaguar, Mega, etc.
We are interested in a doublewide and land package. Any info on quality and service?

General is a long time manufacturer of beginning price homes in GA...For the low price they bui8ld a decent home...

They are in no way as well built as many other products available in the SE...

The 10 yr warranty is VERY limited..The warranty actually is not by General....but by an insurance company...the protection policy (they actually do not call it a warranty)...has pages of exclusions and 1/2 of covered items...ask the salesperson to see the 10 yr policy...The only thing covered after the first year is the frame, studs, joists, rafters...as i remember there is a total of 6 items covered...and then after a large deductable...

You do not buy this home because of the "warranty"..you buy it because it is a good cheap house..
