In an earlier post you stated "The HUD certification program began with the 1877 model year...No home built before this time could possibly meet the program..simply because the program did not exist"
I assume you meant 1977 but I thought the HUD code was started in 1976 so anything before 1976 was non HUD. Which is correct, I have a 1976 and this does have a direct impact on me as the HUD plate has either been removed or never put on.

The program actually did start in July of 1976....but all manufacturers at the time started titling the homes as 1977 models..therefore if your title reads 1976..it is not HUD certified...
