our fleetwood is only year old . we have had numerous
of problems with the double wide. we have 22 repairs on our
walk thru some minor some major. we got wrong border in
living room wrong fireplace no bed lights cellar entrance door
they put a pantry door . windows not opening then not staying
open , mudroom ex. door bad ,not putting in dryer outlet or
breaker ,crack in main bathroom tub,window screens fell
apart,molding, tile loose in several areas in the house,leaking
toilets ,masterbath wallbowing , water stains on walls, thermostat,
carpet fibers coming loose, vents leaking these are only some
of the problems we face there are alot more problems with this
house. we had to fight to get these repair and still fighting today.
we are still waiting for repairs that we call on back in october.
beware of there two year warranty they have an excuse for
everything and you might get that repair and it will only take you
4 months to get someone out here. people might say your
lucky that your getting your repairs done but our house was
only 7 months old on alast repair call and we are still waiting its
been 5 months and whole lot of excuses. if you had any problems with fleetwood let us know.

If you have any complaints about the performance of your manufactured home that have not been resolved by the retailer where you purchased the home you should contact the manufacturer that produced the home. If the problems are left unresolved by the factory then you need to contact the state agency where you live that administers the federal code regulating manufactured housing. It is important to provide the following information with your complaint: First write a numbered list of all the problems. After you have listed each problem then list the dates and names of the people at the dealership and the manufacturer that you spoke to about the problems. Then list the dates that service men came to your home and what they did during that visit. Also be sure to include: Your name, address and a telephone number where you can be reached during the day The name of the manufacturer The serial number and model number of your home The HUD label number (the red tag on the back of the home) The date purchased The name of the retail business who sold you the home. Copies of any correspondence or contacts with the retailer and the manufacturer to resolve the problem. Make copies of this letter. Keep one and send a copy by Certified Mail Return Receipt to: -1- The Dealership where you purchased the home -2- The Manufacturer of the home -3- The Agency that regulates manufactured housing in your state. i have a fleetwood double wide and will never EVER buy another one. they are cheats, thieves, swindlers, liars. nothing but problems with them and the home. i've had hearing after hearing with everyone, with no results. hearings with the state of n.c. also. i'm stuck and so are you face it. i tried everything i was suppose to do. no luck. now all of the fleetwood dealers here are going out of business. packed up and left. so pass the word to everyone not to buy a fleetwood home. the warranties are worthless. and the houses are junk. i should of and will build my own now. if i can sell this piece of junk. good luck.

We have a Fleetwood that is two years old. We have been in constant contact with the manufacturer and we are still waiting on repairs. There is no excuse for a two year leak, among other items that were damaged upon install at the factory and damaged from their "repair" attempts. We just want our home fixed and fixed right.
