When our Silvercrest home is delivered and set up we want to have it professionally inspected before final payment is made. Where would we find someone to do this for a manufactured home??? Thx

The framing, electrical system, plumbing system, air and heat are no different than in any other building. Look in the local phone book for construction inspectors.

The best place to start would be under the category for Engineers and then under Contractors. . In most instances you want your home inspected either by a professional engineer or an licensed contractor, that specializes in inspections.

You might also ask your banker to recommend someone. Almost every lender requires that existing homes stand some type of inspection. Almost all insist on inspection for bugs and pests but many also require an inspection of the structure and its systems, to be sure that they are buying into a sound building
