Hello, new guy here. Were close to deciding on our next home but I was looking at the floor plan tonight and got concerned. Our power pole would be on the opposite end of our new home for electrical entry hookup. Is this a real problem? Too late to call the lot so I thought id ask here.

power pole question
Re: power pole question
No real problem but you will have to run the wire back to the proper side of the home underground. Wire for a 200 amp service can be pricey.. You might want to consider a new pole on the other end..Today most power companies will run underground service from the transformer. You will still have to have an outdoor service panal usually mounted on a pedestal. You will be using an electrician to hook the home to the pole or box, get advise from him/her. Good Luck
