repairs

Have a Palm Harbor home which I notice needed some repair or attention. It is new less than one year old, so I called the Gold card number. I explained the things that my wife and I had notice when we visited. I was asked if I bought the home off the lot and yes we did. So,he said two of things are covered but the other two are cosmetic and not cover, because it was sold as is. I said my contract does not say that, so he checked and his did not either. He said he would have check with his boss about it and get back to us. It has been almost two weeks and I left and voice message but still have not heard from Palm Harbor. Anyone else had simular problems when buying a house off the lot???

First....there is such a statrement in the paper you signed in the warranty close....There is almost 2 pages of excluesions for lot models in this paperwork...This should well have been covered by the GM or Office manager at the close..Have you talked to the GM of the store you bought the home from...If not call them and ask for youe customer advocates name and number..they will go to bat for you....Your problem will be cared for...
