steeper roof pitch

When I bought my home, the steper roof pitches that I think are so attractive now, were nowhere to be found at that point. Does anyone know if a conversion to that steeper pitch is a possibility-now I just have the usual pitch-what it would entail, and maybe a good guess-timate re: price involved. Thanks for any info anyone could give- By the way- if this were to be able to be done- do you think it would increase property value enough to make it worth it??? Thanks again for your input!!! Mel

Hello Melinda,

You're going to have to hire a sub-contractor to do the job. It will be expensive. Sorry, no kits available for such a job.
