Just saw this old post (see pasted below) about the price of a Fleetwood model I've seen on a few websites & had a question for Jon (or someone who might know): What does this price include? I mean, do they move it to your location in California for this price (which happens to be the region where I'm looking)?? Thanks for any info!

Tammy:
Seems that Fleetwood Homes introduced a new two-story model last month in California. They should be available on a more nationwide basis within a few months. The model features four bedrooms and two and one-half baths within 1,800 square feet. The price is expected to vary according to locale but estimates peg the retail price somewhere around $79,000.
Hope this helps.

Andrea:
At our New York office all of our homes are offered by written proposal. This document itemizes all of the various costs involved. Typically, costs such as transportation and installation are included.
If you are considering a purchase in California, you should be given a similar document or one that contains similar information such as a purchase agreement.
Based on the data the was available at the time the Fleetwood home you referenced was expected to retail at about $79,000. However, please keep in mind this price is an estimate for the home--and it can and likely will fluctuate according to locale and retailer. Also, in this case transportation and installation will most probably be additional. Still, even with reasonable shipping and set-up charges, if the home price does come in around $79K it would appear to be a very nice home for the money.
If you find the Fleetwood home at a retailer, make sure you get all the costs in writing before you buy.
Hope this helps. Jon.
