Park is sold to a developer
The park we live in was sold to a developer in July. In this area, the land is actually worth more than the revenue. The previous management company let the park get so run down. They did not do background or credit checks on new tenants, the pool is emptyand not used this summer. Last week I drove through a fight of a gang middle school age kids who do not live here. But worst of all, one of our neighbors home burned and the fire department could not get water from the nearest fire hydrant. Thank God the family was not home at the time! When we moved in, this park went from a quiet park with mostly retired military vetrans to a virtual war zone! We have a home owners association. The new owners told the association they will keep it as a park for a while if the tenants clean up their yards. We could have anywhere from five months to five years to left to live here. Where can I go to find out our rights?

go to your state representive. Most states have either landlord - tennant laws or MH park laws. Your state rep should be able to find them for you.
You state attorney general may help as well.
