If there are fees for registering your manufactured home with the state? I'm in CA.

I would think the State of CA would have a website listing.

Do you have any idea what branch of the government would register manufactured homes, DMV? Dept of Housing?

If you go to this site, hcd.ca.gov, you can scroll down and find mobile home information, registration, etc.
The site is the California Department of Housing. As I recall, there were some fees for registration but they seemed pretty low, like $65 a year or something. Of course, our home is a 1974 so a brand new one might cost lots more.
