We are looking at model from Skyline in Oregon. They do not have an option of a plywood. I don't really understand what is the difference between OSB and Cresdeck? Since we want to install hardwood floors (not laminate, but real hardwood), what should we choose? I would appreciate if somebody would explain this.

Hello, I could be wrong but I don't think hardwood should be installed over cresdeck or Osb board(osb does not hold nails well). cresdeck is a fancy name for particle board and if it gets wet it will swell and fall apart.

Choose OSB tongue and groove subfloor...
Then talk to the floor dealer about proper installation...

Thank you for the advise.
I've learned a lot about MH just from reading this forum' discussions.

Water Seal the decking, add a vapor barrier ( brown paper kind used on batts insulation, Home improvment centers sell it by the roll)
