My husband and I recently purchased a modular home. Not to say it didn't have a few problems, but they were taken care of right away. I think the builder you choose to builder you home has a lot to do with your satisfaction. I can say that we are completely satisfied with our modular home and would not think twice about going this road again in the future. Our home was built by a company in PA by the name of Professional Building Systems. They have a website at www.pbsmodular.com. Feel free to email me with any questions.

We are considering a home built by PBS. If you don't mind me asking, about how expensive was it (cost per square foot?) and did you spend a lot in upgrades?

just purchased a Patriot Bluebonnet series modular home and been living in it for 3 months now. Very nice house that amazes all our guests with the feel and quality. Have not had any issues so far other that a few little touch ups. It is a ranch style house with all the upgrades and a perimeter wall with crawl space. Can't be much happier. I would recommend the Patriot Modular homes to anyone. We upgraded and added the following improvements: insulation, tile, hardi siding, wind rating, roof ridge vent.
