1981 Fleetwood

My parent bought a older trailer and because they are in Florida right now (I am in OHio and so is the trailer).

I need help. I need to prepare the site for the new mobile but I don't know what the dimensions are for a 14x70 1981 Fleetwood. 3 bedroom 1 bath with a 7x14 tipout. I need to know how far the rails are in from the outside (tried finding older ones on a sales lot but they were all different dimensions) and because money is tight we can't do a total foundation..we were just going to put in small concrete pads for the blocks. BUT I can't do that until I find out where they would put the blocks in set up. Basically I have no way to look at the one they bought. (time travel and job prohibit that)

can anyone help me figure out what to do?

You need to check with the Ohio Manufacutured Home Assocaition as they now regulate all manufacutured home placements in the state of Ohio. You may be forced to provide concrete footings below the frost line.

I think you may be talking about the I beams (?) You might have someone measure them, from center to center and from out side to center down the sides of the home at several differnet points.

Are thewy mov ing this home from FL to Ohio???....The trip might be rough on this age home.....
