You might want to check out The Home Place in Cullman. They sell Cavaliers. I was impressed with them when they actually talked to me without trying to pressure me into buying right then. The Cavaliers seem to be well built homes at a reasonable price. I don't know if it is still there but the Palm Harbor dealer in Cullman was easy to deal with when I was just windows shopping.

Hello,
For my money Palm Harbor is the only home worth buying. Palm Harbor has a dealership in Huntsville I believe. Also go to their website.
Check out how Palm Harbor sits up thier homes verses all other dealers who contract it out.
Buuy some of the books on this site.

I am looking for a modular home builder in the North
Alabama area.
We would really like a modular log home unit but will
consider a traditional look.
We are looking for between 1900 and 2400 sq. ft.
3 bedroom, 2 bath, mud room, and as open of a floor plan
as possible on the first floor.
On the second floor we would like to have two open
rooms.
We own 20 acres of land on HWY 278 in north Alabama in
a small community called Walnut Grove, it is about 15
miles southwest of Boaz, AL.
We would like to break ground within the next 9 - 12
months.
We thank you in advance for any assistance you can
provide in putting us in contact with a builder.
