Enlarging bedroom in single wide

Hello,
Is it possible to remove an outside wall in a single wide bedroom and enlarge the room 6 or 8 feet? What about the foundation, supporting rails that exit under the home as it is now? I'm assuming that the enlarged wall would require it's own foundation? I believe in our MH park, you are not allowed any permanent foundations, so if this is true, does this make an addition impossible?

I don't think that would be possible. The outside walls would be the only support a mobile would have. An option could be to build a "deck" and enclose it, add windows insulate the bejeebers out of it and attach it by way of a cut out through an exsisting window space. We considered that in our old MH in a park.

Hey- in a park here in Des Moines, I have seen additions onto singles and I am not sure how they are done. My dealer was even doing it with new singles. There is one in Pleasant Valley in Pleasant Hill that is just that way. See a contractor before you go get a saw!
