Post by Nikki » Mon Nov 22, 2004 12:33 pm

Ok.. So I'm a first time buyer looking to buy a mobile home preferably already in a park in SE wisconsin. Also looking for something inexpensive.. what's the best way to go about finding one??..

The news paper was very little help.. it's mostly adds by companies selling new mobile homes..

What's the best way to find one?? If anyone had any ideas please E-mail me :)

A good place to start is the MLS of the industry...right to the right of this post..

This morning there are 31 homes listed in WI...I do not know the cities involved..Maybe some are what you are looking for..

I would also be checking out shopper type papers in the area you are listed in..

If you want a home in a park..go to the parks and drive thru and look for for sale signs...Stop in and ask the manager of any they might know about..

You should have no trouble finding many..

Good Luck

I tried the listings, there was nothing anywhere near where I would like to live.

I've called a few parks to get information.. lot rent, whether they allow dogs, that sort of thing to narrow my search down to just places I would be interested in living. I'll try driving through those and looking for 4 sale signs. :)

thanx

Nikki- check out some dealers in a larger town closest to you. My park will not allow for sale signs in windows. Also you should know that financing is not as easy in a park as it is on land. There is a place that my dealer has coming on board that doesn't require a credit score, but I don't know any more about it. Some dealers have used listings in parks as well as new homes. Don't give up, you just haven't found it yet! God's speed!
