Your advice.

I bought my used trailer for $12,000 in May of 2004. I recently learned that in 2 years this park is going to be torn down to build townhouses. Should I try to sell now or just hold out till the end? I was told it depends who buys it what the price will be for me to leave. Do you think it's wise to stay? I have it up for sale just in case as I really don't know what to do. It's a 1974 that has an efficiency which pays the lot rent of $325 monthly. So, basically, I'm living here for free. Please advise. Thanks for your time. It's really a double wide with the addition which includes a patio.

You have a problem...If you sell the home you must disclose this info..or you could be liable later..

It will be hard to move a 74 model to another park or even to private property..You have not mentioned which state you are in...but many areas and parks would restrict the placement of pre HUD homes..

Most states will require that the park offer to buy or move your home...You should check the laws in your state..

It would be nearly impossible to move an older home with a large added room..The cost would be very high...

Which state are you in????????????
