Does anyone know who would take my Michigan Mobile home for free?

Hi, I live in Michigan and have a 1985 14 x 72 3 BR mobile home, we have
just bought a house and the mobile home park we live in has required that
all homes like mine that have aluminum siding have to be resided with vinyl
siding upon sale of the home. I do not want to reside the home, I would just
like to know if anyone knows who would remove the home from the park
for free and they could have the home to sell or keep? Does anyone know
of anyone I can call? Thanks.

Advertise in local paper, supermarket free papers, etc. Local charities might help also. You have to consider this, if you cant find anyone to take this off your hands, its going to cost some significant money to tear it down and remove it, so residing might still be a viable option. Tom

where in Michigan you are.
What make the home is.
The layout of the home.
The condition (not looking for a junker..)

I have an older mobile 1970 in Wisconsin, and if things work out may be interested in taking yours. I would need to move it and setup etc.
I am looking for a front living room, or kitchen, and at least 1.5 baths.

I have gotten and resold over 500 freebie mobile homes. You can learn how to sell them, in place, as pull-outs, with your buyer paying the moving costs. You won't get much for it, maybe $1,000 or so, but that is better than nothing. You also might offer to sell it for $1,000 to the park itself. Remember they can waive the modification/updating rules if they choose. You can find my posts on doing this on www.creonline.com. Go to the mobile home forum and type "whisler" in the archives search engine, or better yet type in "freebies" and you should be able to find a dozen or so posts on point.

It you want to just give it away, post it there on the mobile home discussion forum, giving the size, year, and other details as well as the location and time frame for removal.
