Garage roof

I am trying to buy a 1922 bulit Bungalo in North Tonawanda NY I am approved of a FHA Mortgage-my question is what are the recomndations on garage roofs?? the house in question has a detached garage but there are a few rotted pieces of wood but the roofing matierials look good, could some one please help me so i can stop woring that my dream house might fall threw because of a garage roof that im never going to use except for a shed, I f any one has the answer please email me @[email protected]
