getting financed
getting financed
I am liveing in a modular home I'm trying to get financed & haveing trouble to find a company who will finance me. My credit isn't so great due to a house my ex-husband was awarded in the divorce settlement & the mortgag is still in my name & on my credit. Also due to medical bills. I live in Jackson Mi is there anywhere that will finance with very little or no money down since I already have possesion of the house? It is on a lot. Can anyone help me. Been on-line all morning trying to look for help. I can provide proof that my ex is responsible for the mortgage that's on my credit.
Re: getting financed
Lots of questions....is this really a modualr home or is it a manufactured home...Finance rules are different for each...
If this is a manufactured home...on rental of family property..you will not find anyone who will help...

Re: getting financed
I'm not sure the difference between a modular or manufactured home. It's located on a lot ina manufacture home community.
Re: getting financed
This is a manufactured home...you will be looking for home only manufactured home finance....modular homes are only on private property..
You might try putting your info into the finance section on this web site...but I caution you not to expect too much...Home only manufactured home programs all require good credit in the last 2 or more years...
Down payment requirements for those with great credit will be at least 5%...most often 10 %...Those with rough credit should expect much larger requirements..
Sorry the news could not be better..
