Weverlee, Southern Energy & Clayton Homes

Hi Folks,

I live in SE Kentucky and my family and I have been planning to buy a manufactured home. The Waverlee home is beautiful w/8ft residential celings. The Southern Energy home is also very nice and modern. The Clayton home is simply a basic box with very few eye catching features but I'm told the Clayton is more solid than the other two brands. Are there any Waverlee or Southern Engery Home owners that can tell me about these homes. For some reason Clayton (Norris) has lost eye appeal compared to what other manufactures are doing. I'm I wrong?

Thanks,
Clarence Yeary - Kentucky

Clarence, I just purchased a Palm Harbor in Flemingsburg, KY. I am really happy with the experience so far - they still have to set it up. Kelly is the GM and she and her reps have worked with me for a month of so now. I was able to get 5/12 pitch, 8' flat ceilings, drywall, ceramic tile, 3/4 OSB flooring, vinyl siding (but they offer Hardiboard - a cement siding that looks like wood). I did a lot of doors/window moving. I bought the Westerly and moved the door to the side. They have a web site if you want to check out floor plans. palmharbor.com Good luck in your search. It is a task!
