adding a room onto mobilehome

I have a fuqua singlewide that i built a frontroom on plus a room on the back...now i cannot get retro-building permits...what can i do short of tearing down my additions?

Building permits are usually gotten before the work is done so that the work can be inspected as you build..to be sure it meets the code..which is in place to protect you and your family..

Before permits are given..changes in land use requirements (zoning) are also checked...changes in zoning could keep you from doing this kind of addition..

Some governments are very strict about this..My only advice is to find the head of the building department....beg ignorance...hope they will listen and give you a break...Most zoning and permit office have some sort of oversight board that allows for appeals..if they will not help..ask about the appeals process and go for it...

Be nice....huffing and puffing will get you no where and get no help...Good Luck
