Looking for recommendations of manufacturers of MH for this region of the country. Prime concern is for quality construction and energy efficiency. Have been working with a dealer in central Iowa who seems to have a good reputation. Has been really willing to work with us and answer questions, do rough pricing, etc. even though we are probably a year away from a final decision. His brochures are from Highland Manufacturing of Worthington, Minnesota. Does anyone have any input about this company????? Would like to have recommendations for other quality homes suitable for this part of the country. Have, also, had some talks with a dealer who used to represent Hart Homes but has since left due to "internal changes at Hart that we do not feel serve the best interests of our customers". He now is promoting Dutch Housing, Inc. I know that a good dealer who will back you up with service after the sale is important, but the first part is a manufacturer who builds quality homes and will work to remedy problems, if any, after the sale......i.e. good warranty and sticks to it. All recommendations, thoughts. etc. welcome.
