Modular homes are built to state building codes..and the companies are very regional in nature...There is no such thing as a national rating of these companies....As a matter of fact with few exceptions most companies are available only in a few states...

Champion Home Builders does build the Genesis Home which is distributed through local developers...but the home is available nationally..

Palm Harbor has 2 lines of modulars...Nationwide Homes which is distributed by local building contractors...and Discovery Custom Homes which can be found at Palm Harbor owned stores and Discovery Homes Sales Centers...This line is available in about 2/3 rds of the country..
