the thing that really bothers me is that there are tons of then in my area..it was the cadillac of mobile homes..in 1977 it had factory 8 foot ceiling, the floors were on 2x6's with 16 inch centers..(no mobile home had that) it came with a giant garden tub....the walls were super insulated and my particular one has a factory fireplace and NO HALLWAY anywhere....this is why i cant believe there isnt more stuff about this quality 70x14 mobile home........

My Mom passed recently leaving us her Parkwood located in Florida. Actually I think the majority of homes in the community are Parkwoods, The MH is named Parkwood Estates. I am with you on Quality, this has never felt like a MH to me. The walls are incredible, sound and sturdy home. Hers is either a 74 or 84 [or somewhere in the middle] I didnt bring the title home, briefly glanced at it and was surprised by it's age. I've always told people it was a MH like no other, and I've sold pre-owned.
So, now there are two!

We own a 1974 Parkwood in Austin, Texas. We got it second-hand. We replaced most of the windows and covered most of the floors, but our biggest problem now is that the 31" x 31" showerstall is rusting out and in need of replacing. We can only find 32" units and they just won't fit! Can anyone help with THIS problem?
