The wife and I bought a 1999 chandeleur in 2003, we payed cashed for it using our credit cards because we are retired and wasn't working at the time, we needed a place to live, we found this great home in great shape(repo) we payed the cash $15000. and put another $5000. with up grades, i don't know how much its worth. We live in Illinois and in a MH park, the land isn't ours, I have tryed everything to get a loan to pay off the credit cards so we can get back on feet and enjoy life, Is there anyone out there that would lend money. My home is 1300 Sq ft, Double wide in like new shape. Is there somewhere where we can go and get a loan. Help use please. Walt. and Dottie

Obviously you have to use your home as collateral for the unsecured credit card debt. Try a mortgage broker. They search around for you. We've had good luck w/them and some people have not. Some are better than others. I hope you have some sort of income???
