We are looking to purchase a new manufacted home. Besides prices, we are looking for 5/12 roof pitch, finished drywall throughout, 16-inch centers on the roof line, 3 bedrooms/2 baths. After much(!) searching and a lot of run arounds from dealers, we are trying to decided between one manufactured by Dutch Housing (now owned by Champion Homes) and one made by Patriot from their Crystal Valley series. Any ideas on which home is better made/more respected in the industry? Thanks.

Dutch Housing vs. Patriot
Re: Dutch Housing vs. Patriot
Mary,
I do not know anything about a Patriot home.
We purchased a Meadowview ltd from Champion (Dutch) 28x80. It has full drywall, 5/12 roof, 8' ceilings, skylights in both bathrooms, the "ultimate kitchen" ie, all stainless steel appliances, convection oven, ceramic range top, large stainless steel hood over range, the newer, taller dishwasher, a stone fireplace (from floor to ceiling) with oak mantle and many, many more great options.
The guys are putting it together this week. As for their service, I don't know yet, but when I was deciding what floor plan and the layout and options and all I called the plant direct (La Grange, IL) and their sales gal took the time and was very helpful so with this experience I would say go with Dutch you can't go wrong.
Good Luck in your new home search!!!
