Anybody know anything about Guerdon's? Having a really, really difficult time obtaining information about this mfg. Are newer homes better than their older ones? Or are they about the same? Are they using 2x6 on load bearing walls and 2x4's on interior walls? etc., etc. What about flooring [particleboard or plywood], siding, roofing, plumbing? Please help - I'm begging as I write this :-)

At one time Guerdon Industries was the largest in the business....They have had ups and downs over the years and older models would NOT reflect the current product...That is the only part of your question I can answer since I have not seen a new one in years..

M Murray - whoever you are, thanks a million. It has been a real struggle to get any info whatsoever on this mfg. and I know some of the really bad mfg's these days WERE good about 10 years ago [Golden West, etc.] So I'm very hesitant to move in the direction of this home.

Thanks for your time!

Guerdon is a great company that makes great upscale products. Most of their supplies they use excede the quality of stick built homes.
