I had heard at one time you can purchase prefab room additions from the makers of the mobile homes? Is this true?

That's odd... yesterday I visited my Karsten dealer in Spokan Washington and they had an "addition" on one of the models... added 10K to the price. It was wired in and attached to the heating system. Perhaps its only something you can buy during the initial purchase...

Correct....only when the home is new...they cannot sell the "addition" as a separate item..

You would have to custom build an addition...A trade for a new home might be in order..

I would like to add a second story addition to my 1982 modular ranch home which is on pilings. Is it possible? Ths view of the Bay would be unobstructed from the second story, if it could be done.
