Out with the old, in with the new

I've just purchased a new home (dbl. wide) and it should be delivered within the next month. I'm having my existing home (dbl. wide) moved out and the new home placed in the same spot on my property. The dealer says he'll move the old one out for the home (it's not worth selling). My plan is to have the old home pulled to the side of the property and left there for a few days before it is hauled-off to give me time to transfer my belongings to the new home. In preparation for the transaction, I've had the septic pumped and certified and have applied for a permit with the health department. I've been told I have to obtain a development permit from the building department. It's my understanding that everything but the electrical hook-up will be included in the set up of the new home, so I'll have to hire an electrician for that. Never having gone through this before, I'm not sure what to expect. Is it going to be the absolute nightmare that I am anticipating? If you've gone through this and have any tips, info or suggestions, I would certainly appreciate hearing from you!
Thanks!
Deborah
