HELP!!! Your opinion is what I need. In the area of East Texas (Longview or Sulpher Springs), whom do you think builds the best manufactured home for the dollar?

Also...

I have looking online for Modular home builders in the East Texas area and have had no luck in finding one. From what I have read, Texas has not yet taken the Modular home business by storm as it has in the eastern and southern states. I am wondering if Texas will eventually see an increase in Modular Housing. I am interested in finding out more about it.

I am not particularlly familier with the specific product sold in your area...but..the rules are the same everywhere..

You should get up to speed on quality features that you feel are a must...you as everyone will have to wiegh..price..quality..size and features and move forward..The biggest...best..loaded homes are all on the high end side of the equation..If you pocket book is limited...you will have to give something up...Quality..size..or features..you will have to decide what is important to you..

Palm Harbor has a modular home but seems to be a MH on a frame with some changes, not a true modular. Patriot builds a modular home in Sikston MO that may be available in your area. Because the price of new contruction in your area is still affordable, modular homes have not had a big impact like some other parts of the country. Panel homes and kit homes are available as well as log, saddlewhite log homes are located in Longview.
