House shakes

When my washing machine is on the spin cycle the whole house seems to shake a little. What can be done to stop this from happening?

Make sure it's balanced and level. Probably one or more of the little adjustable feet on the machine aren't touching the floor.
Also, off the top of my head - you could cut a piece of 1" thick plywood (or thicker) about the same size as the machine, and slide this under the legs.

Thanks for the advice Mac. I checked the level of the machine....it was a little off and I fixed it. If that doesn't seem to help then I'll try the plywood.
