Bill of sale

Post by Kida » Tue Sep 16, 2003 6:02 pm

We are in the process of selling our '94 Sw, to be moved. What do we need to include on our bill of sale? Is there a generic one we can purchase at an office supply store, or do I need to do one up myself?
TIA

A bill of sale should include the obvious...Make, model, year, size with hitch and without hitch and serial number...the name of the sellers and the name of the buyers...

Of course you also include the sale terms...Price, payment method, anticipated closing dates, condition statement (be sure to put any condition disclosures you have made into the bill of sale) and a statement that the home is sold with out any warranty and the buyer should be responsible for any undisclosed or hidden defects...

Your bill of sale should detail all included items...such are stove, refrigerator...no furniture...what ever...

One last statement...promises...that there are no promises except those in this bill of sale...

Place for all to sign..If it ends up more than 1 page..all pages should be signed..

You can probably buy a form in a local office supply place...but you can just as well make on easily...WORD and WORKS probably have templates in the software or on-line..
