hurricane protection

Hi does anyone have any experience on covering windows for a hurricane.I have 2x6 plywood wrapped exterior walls with vinyl siding and vinyl windows. thanks ..........
I have no specific information...but you home is built as well or better than most stick builts in your area...There are true hurricane shutters available that can be closed that would mount on your home just as well as they do any home...
