masonite siding?
RE: masonite siding?
Jim, Hello. I think maysonite or James Hardi board is much better than vinyl siding. Vinyl siding tends to warp later on in years and I've seen this. The only problem with maysonite siding is you have maintain the siding like repainting and ceil the cracks and make sure your manufactured home is properly skirted and ventilated.(maysonite.com) If your home isn't well ventilated the moisture tends to trap into the siding and this causes the siding to warp. Vinyl siding you don't have to really worry about because it's precolored and all you have to do is wash it once in awhile. James Hardi Board is a new type of siding and is very durable. It's like a cement type of siding and won't rot, fire resistent, and termite resistent. This siding is an option for some manufactured homes. Very good siding than the maysonite too.(jameshardi.com) Good luck
