brick
RE: brick
Wilma:
It is true that real brick can be added to the outside of a manufactured home. However, it is rarely done because manufactured homes are typically situated on leased land, as in a manufactured home community. Adding brick makes moving the home a bit more troublesome. Also, the economic return of adding brick to a manufactured home is not as great as adding it to a modular home. If brick is to be added, most often it is done with modular homes. Also, as Joe pointed out, weight is a problem and for that reason as well as the fact that brick would loosen during transit, exterior brick is added to the home after it is set on site.
