Anyone know of any good websites dealing with manufactured homes and landscaping?

We are in the process of getting our MH built - they are digging the basement as we speak so I'd like to be checking into landscaping how-to's when it is all finished.

I am not sure how landscaping a manufactured home would be much different than any other home...especially those on a basement...
Search the web for land scape specialty site..I am sure there are many..

It's not any different. We just put out 14 red, white, and pink azaleas, with a spidergrass (striped) and vinca border. We are hoping to introduce the concept of grass this weekend.

Re the landscaping - draw out your lot (or land) on graph paper and add in the home and any other buildings, driveway, fence(s), etc. You can get reasonably priced plants, trees, shrubs, etc. from some of the magazines, but usually they are too small to actually be planted in the ground. They should be treated like container plants for the first year or two. Then they can be placed in the ground. The same holds true for the "10 free trees" from the arborday site. Eight of mine survived in pots (the other two never grew at all) and are nearly large enough to really plant - if I knew where I want them to go. We were given a large number of discarded nursery plants (102 crape myrtles) which are thriving but apparently have 3 colors and don't know which is which. I always thought it would be fun to have a lot of land with nothing on it - not as easy as it sounds. It's hard to know where to start and not mess something up irrevocably! Good luck. Gardening is fun! The web sites are good places to start - there are also landscaping programs you can purchase.

Landscaping seems to be my my summer obsession.
I treated my lot and home just like a site built home would be treated.

Has anyone bought a MH at "Oakpoint Community"
in Middleboro MA. ??? It a over 55 development. I put a deposit down on a free standing 50ft house and it will be ready 08/15/03.
Any good news or bad?????????

Just wondering, don't you have to be careful
about the grading etc. so as to not get water
under your home?

would someone please tell me what does "digging a basement" for for MH mean. I am confused!!
