Does anyone know anything about the quality of Pine Grove manufactured homes? What is the best home in Pa?

I am employed by Black's Homes Sales Inc. in Altoona,Pa. 1-800-773-2835 www.blackshomesales.com. Pine Grove makes a very good home. I say this even though we have not sold this home for the past year or so. As a dealer it is difficult to represent all the manufacturers that are available by stocking their homes. We currently stock homes manufacturer by Colony Homes and Champion Homes. Like the Pine Grove these are manufacturer in Pa . We feel that because of the larger size of the Colony and Champion organizations they can offer the same superior quality , floor plan and option selection but at a better price.

What about New Era Building Systems or Excel Homes. They are the only ones that have builders in Long Island. Can you recommend one of them?

My company had sold Pine Grove homes in the past. They make a good home. As to your question about which company in PA makes the best home: For a good combination of price and quality take a look at Astro Homes (division of Cavalier Industries). However, there are several more. Also, keep in mind many of the bigger builders (like Fleetwood) have many fabrication plants around the country, and quality does vary from one plant to another, as well as from model to model. So don't just rely on reputation or recommendation alone. Make sure to thoroughly check out the manufacturer, the home itself and the retailer who will be selling you the home. Jon.
