Love my Ritz-Craft

Some weeks ago I asked about a Ritz-Craft MFH. I am now living in one and really like this house. I was in this house one week and Ritz-Craft has already sent me some paperwork to let me know they would be in the area on a certain date and would fix or replace anything that I am not happy with. So far, the only thing I have found is a screen missing. The big thing is the set-up of a MFH, and so far I am happy with that. After two weeks, I am so far quite content. I did have 2x8 floors and 16 o.c. in roof - upgraded where we could, and also have drywall and some other things that were recommended on the internet through such forums as this one. So, thanks to this forum I am very happy in my MFH and will continue to view your web site for any future things that would be of interest concerning MFH's. Thank You.

Since my employer sells Ritz-Craft, I am pleased to learn of your satisfaction with the product. We too, as retailers, are pleased with it and the organization behind it.
Best of luck in your new home!

It's been a few weeks and we still really like our Ritz-Craft home. We had a few days of high winds and the home was quiet indoors - barely heard the wind. Glad I went with drywall, 2x8 floor joists, 16" O.C. in roof, 30 Yr shingles, etc. Thanks to this site that I was able to pick up on some of these suggestions. I think adding a few of these extras, makes the difference. I had many comments from some of the contracted folks who worked on my home when it was being set up and so on, that they don't see alot of MFH with these extras. Of course they cost extra, but it was surprising that the extra cost was not that bad, and it gives us peace of mind having a sturdier home. We did eliminate the fireplace (which was quoted about $3900) and made the decision to put the money into the upgrades.
