This is a different disscussion. My home is a big mess, it's falling apart. The place that sold the home to us went out of bussiness. The home is bowing in the middle, the front door won't shut, the closet doors won't close unless you lift up on them. The cabinets are all uneven, floors in both bathrooms have been wet because of bad waterlines, moulding is coming off or is not there. Wholesale Manfacturing is the ones that sold us the home. Chandeleur is the manfacturer. We have no one to turn to . I would like to get my house fixed or be able to purchase a new one. It is really one big mess. If you can tell me what to do I would really appreciate it. T hank You Debbie Ross you may coneact me at 816-230-8708.

Debbie:
From the information you provide and the conditions you describe, your problems appear to be caused from an unlevel condition and/or improper set-up of your home. Proper set-up of a home is the task of the retailer from whom you purchased the home. Since that retailer is no longer in business, you could contact the manufacturer and request assistance as recommended by David Oxhandler and Larry Haswell.. This is especially true if your home was set-up recently because new federal laws require manufacturers to insure their retailers know correct set-up procedures. Nonetheless, unless the manufacturer takes responsibility for the set-up mistakes of the defunct retailer, which is something most manufacturers are loathe to do, you may need to undertake the repair yourself. I'm not suggesting that you personally do the work, but you may need to hire a qualified firm to make the correction.
Good luck.

SOMETHING TO KEEP IN MIND IS YOUR SOIL CONDITIONS, I.E. COMPACTION RATE, WAS THE HOME BUILT ON FILL????.LEVELING THE HOME SOUNDS LIKE THE LEAST OF YOUR PROBLEMS, HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN SET UP?? THE PLUMBING LEAKS WOULD BE MY MAJOR CONCERN,ALTHOUGH MOST NEWER MANUFACTURED HOMES HAVE CRESDEK FLOORING WHICH HAS WAX IN IT AND IS BETTER THAN THE OLDER PARTICLE BOARDS, IT STILL NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED ASAP. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE "BELLY WRAP UNDER YOUR HOME FOR WATER,JUST GO UNDER AND POKE ANY LOW SPOTS AND IF THERE IS WATER CUT IN AND DRAIN IT, THIS WILL RELIEVE THE PROBLEM.IF YOU HAVE GREY WATER SUPPLY LINES IT IS MOST LIKELY QUEST WHICH IS UNDER RECALL. BACK TO LEVELLING, IF YOUR HOME IS RELEVELLED IT SHOULD HANDLE YOUR DOOR PROBLEMS AS LONG AS THEY WERE INSTALLED PROPERLY ORIGINALLY.NO MATTER WHAT WITH YOUR DEALER OUT OF BUSINESS IT IS GOING TO BE A SOMEWHAT LENGTHY PROCESS TO GET THIS RESOLVED, SO CHECK THAT BELLY WRAP ASAP. HOPE THIS HELPS

Debbie,
since I live in MO and am going through the process of dealing with problems....
I know th info on the state....
Department of Manufactured Housing and Modular Units
Missouri Public Service Commission
573-751-9294

ask them to send you an application ASAP because it takes a while for the inspector to come to the house ....
there are laws in Missouri regulating the installation....
