The Manufactured Housing Forums

I'm in the Houston/Galveston, Tx area and we are leaning toward purchasing a Kabco for our first manufactured home (downsizing from a conventional home and very nervous!) because of their reputation for quality in comparison to some others in the industry. Can anyone give me the good, the bad, and the ugly about Kabco?

Also, can anyone else suggest other top tier manufacturers to look at for top of the line quality construction, energy efficiency, design and aesthetics? I'm open to any and all suggestions since I'm just starting out and overwhelmed at how many manufacturers there are to learn about!
