where to set up a manufactured home

Can I install a manufactured home on any property that I own or they have to be in mobile home parks?

Of course you can. Manufactured homes rent just for parks.

It depends on the zoning. Check with your local county or municipality. Some places allow them in residentially zoned areas, others don't.

You can install it on your own property. This is probably the best bet unless you're using it as a second home in my opinion. If you do decide to move to a mobile home park many of these communities benefit from you moving there (by getting rid of unwanted vacancy) and are willing to help cover the move costs.
