I have one chance to get this right. The reviews are mixed on what the best brands are. Solitaire by far looked the best to me in person, but they don't make a small home like I want. I want one that will last and not be a constant problem as I am on disability. Does anyone know which brands outshine the rest here in Texas? I hate salesmen and want to feel good about the purchase.

I am in a similar situation: retired and planning to sell my house and move to another town. I researched mobile homes and found they are a very poor investment. I decided I would rather rent a condo than live in a mobile home park. The mobile home may be cheaper at first, but it's likely to cost a lot more down the road.
