want to sell our mobile home with share but.........

Post by keepgoing » Wed Feb 07, 2007 1:37 pm

We are located in Deerfield Beach Fl. We try to sell our mobile home with land/share. We wanted to put a normal sized sale sign outside but the board of directors told us, we only can put a very samll sale sign inside the house at the window, we have to follow the rules and regulation, which we took over from the former owner. This rules and regulations were for renters, we own a share ,so we think we should have new rules and regulations. We asked the board if we can sell the house and keep the share, this was denied, they told us this is written in their by laws. No we are stuck, we cannot sell the house, because most people are not interested in the share. Any suggestions?

Shouldn't dealerships be required to point out that warranties have expired should a buyer purchase a new home, yet not this year's model as the case where a 2004 was bought and the warranty from the builder was for 24 months from the time of build?

An honest dealer would always explain all aspects of warranty coverage..BUT it is the buyers responsibility to read all documentation about the home and purchase..The home warranty would have disclosed any time exclusions such as this..

Buyers have a responsibility to know what they have bought..Trusting a commissioned sales person for all of your information is NOT the best way to go..
