triple wide

We are looking at an Indies triple-wide home and also a Solitaire dw. One dealer told us that they didn't sell triple-wides any more due to the water table in our state that makes the earth unsteady. He indicated that service calls were common. Does any one have any comments about this?

Geez.....this would mean you can put NO home on this property...Find another dealer...A heavy home like these mentioned should have a well designed under the frostline foundation for the blocks to sit on...

Good LUCK

I currently live in the Pacific Northwest where we get more rain per month than most areas do all year. Up here MHs are either set on runners, reinforced concrete at least 12 inches wide and below the frost line, or the owner has a reinforced concrete slab poured for it to set on. If you are looking at a lifetime home, this is a small investment that can be financed as "part of your package".
I have even worked on several triple wides set over full basements. I am sure there are dealers in your area that can explain this to you. They are the ones I would consider buying from.
