Gateway/Advantage Homes

has anyone had any experiance with these homes. we are looking to purchase a 32x90 double wide. they are a branch of Champion Homes built in Alabama

I know of the company, I can not give you advise based on being a homeowner, but Champion Homes is Nationwide. It is always good to shop and compare. If you are in Alabama you are in the heart of the Manufatured Housing Industry, there are several builders. Patriot Homes builds Pinnacle and Cavalier has some good homes too.

champion Homes, I have friend that works there, They are slopped together, Production is all they care about, Quality Control is not good at all, Check on this mfg. at BBB Better Business Bureau, We did and was not inpressed

Thanks for saying that I was afraid to step out there, so I recommended some builders that I have confidence in. I really think you would like the pinnacle home.
I have heard good things about the structure, quality and reputation!!! I can give you direct people if you want them.

I have a 4yr old Gateway that is leaking and my insurance adjuster says that they've had many problems with Gateway homes springing 'mysterious' leaks. Anyone seen this type of problem? Gateway of course wants to blame the mover.
