The underbelly of my MH is kind of round underneed, but the floors seem to be leveled. What could be wrong? or is it supposed to be that way?
Does anyone know?

Your home is built on a steel frame that usually consists of two large I-beams with numerous steel cross members runing between them, and extending out towards the sidewalls. On top of this frame they place a layer of breathable plastic fabric. On top of this plastic they lay a layer of insulation. This belly insulation tends to make the plastic sag down a little, and might be what you are seeing. And this is a normal condition.

Thanks Jerry, do you know if i need to get a permit from the city to build a new decks?

I'm located in upper Michigan, and we have to get permits to add or modify decks. The only way you can find out is to contact your local 'friendly' building department, and ask them. You can build without permits, but sometimes it is cheaper and less hassle to go ahead and get the proper permits. You can also check with them and get any local building codes/guidlines they want you to follow in constructing the deck.

I'm in lower Michigan and the county consensus is if you don't permanently attach the deck to the house you don't need a permit.

My home is a modular home with an added on room. The main part of the house is the manufactured home and has a crawl space beneath it. The floor of my home is very cold and I want to put roll insulation beneath the floor/ in the crawl space. Would this be a problem? Thanks I am in West Michigan.
